Man Utd stun Liverpool at Old Trafford to clinch first win of season

Manchester United earned their first Premier League win of the  season on Monday night with a 2-1 win over Liverpool  at Old Trafford. 

 

  Red Devils overwhelmed the Reds with a superb performance in the match that gave manager Erik Ten Haag his first league win in the Premier League. 

 Ten Hug dropped captains Harry Maguire and Cristiano Ronaldo into the game, with Jadon Sancho  scoring in the 16th minute before Marcus Rashford scored the second. 

 Mohamed Salah scored a consolation goal with nine minutes remaining for Jürgen Klopp's side, who were unable to equalize. 

 

 The loss leaves Liverpool with two points from his two games as they seek their first Premier League title of the season. 

 

 Before the start of the game, Real Madrid newcomer Casemiro was introduced to the Manchester United squad.
